Many INFPs are naturally gifted artists who excel at painting, acting, writing and other creative pursuits. They're also typically very empathetic idealists who often go out of their way to make life easier for the people they care about. That said, everyone has areas for growth and a number of INFPs may note that they have potential in areas related to appropriate self-care and becoming more detail oriented. Appropriate self-care When it comes to self-care, some experts note that INFPs can devote their full focus to a project, a cause or to the needs of a loved one. The intensity of the INFP's focus can lead to a lack of personal self-care. They might forget to eat, forgo sleep, and put off their own mental health/emotional needs. This can be dangerous if left unchecked. To resolve the issue, an INFP might organize their daily life by creating a calendar or to-do list with appropriate time slots for meals, sleep, fitness, and consistent doctor's appointments. In addition to this, it would be great if the INFP made time to talk their feelings out with a good friend or a trusted relative. Becoming more detail-oriented INFP's tend to focus on the big picture, which is often a positive way to view life. But details matter too, and sometimes when our "lens" is too wide, we forget to take care of the seemingly minor aspects of a big project. Truity.com says, "No matter how wonderfully inventive a new idea might be, it won't get anywhere if the logistical details required to put it into practice are ignored or neglected." So, INFPs who are focused on self-growth in this area will bite the bullet and address the boring details of a project or idea. If you're an INFP, what areas of self-growth have you conquered?
